System Requirements
Media protect requires Umbraco 4.5.2 + and  is compatible with SQL Server 2005/2008 (Express) and SQL CE 4 (Umbraco v4.6+) only. MediaProtect requires .net Framework 3.5

Mediaprotect will run on IIS7. Best to set the application pool to integrated mode.
